Khadija Edible Oil Refinery is one of the largest physical oil refineries in Pakistan. Established in 2005 at Port Muhammad Bin Qasim in Karachi, it has a significant capability for refining Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and a high production of banaspati and cooking oil. The refinery is equipped with international standards such as HALAL, FSSC, 9001, and 14001 to meet nationwide needs.
We assure conformance of our manufacturing processes and products to these requirements by:
- Meeting or exceeding clients’ expectations in terms of providing quality products and enhancing food safety and food quality culture at all levels of the Company.
- Establishing partnerships with suppliers and interested parties to provide improved services.
- Minimizing harmful effects on the environment, preventing and controlling pollution, and maximizing the efficient use of energy and resources wherever possible while providing our activities and services.
- Complying with all applicable regulatory, legislative, food safety, or other requirements, and anticipating them whenever possible.
- Continually improving our Integrated Management Systems (IMS) by reviewing objectives and targets, conducting audits, and management reviews under international standards.
- Educating, training, and motivating our employees and concerned business partners through communication, competence, awareness, and training to expand their capabilities, particularly in areas that affect food safety and quality.
- Providing a safe and healthy workplace and ensuring that personnel are properly trained and have appropriate emergency equipment.
- Ensuring the prevention of injuries and illness due to working conditions for the safety of our employees and subcontractors by systematically identifying potential risks and applying the appropriate prevention measures.
- Promoting the use of process approaches and risk-based thinking.
